Message: Augsburg's Campus Ministry and Luther Seminary students collaborate on several Bible Study groups that are open to anyone this semester. The Discipleship Study and discussion group has a new time: they meet Sundays at 1:30 in the Christensen center coffee shop. Anyone interested can come, with a Bible if possible, to learn and share. All full and part-time faculty who teach courses that contain a speaking, writing, critical thinking, or quantitative reasoning graduation skill component are required to have attended a "consultation" on the particular skill. For fall semester, faculty members may teach skill courses provided they attend a scheduled session. (If you have attended an appropriate skills consultation in the past it is not necessary to attend again.)

Message: Augsburg College’s Multicultural Education Encouragement Team (M.E.E.T.) is now hiring students for paid positions. The mission of M.E.E.T., in relation to the Undergraduate Office of Admission and the Ethnic Student Service Programs, is to proactively recruit students of diverse ethnic backgrounds in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. In this process, M.E.E.T. strives to build relationships with high school counselors, cultural advisors, and the staff of community programs to educate and encourage the increase of underrepresented student population in higher education.
