Help SOAR and Park in Lot L

All of our SOAR attendees have been directed to park on the WEST side of campus. This is to assist them in navigating around the construction and preparing them for move-in day. If you plan to be on campus over the next week, please plan to park in Lot L to allow room for parking for our SOAR visitors on the other end of campus (Lots D, G and the Augsburg streets etc). "Welcome to our Neighborhood" Playing 7-23-7/31

The Cedar Cultural Center is presenting "Welcome to our Neighborhood," a play by Somali youth of the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood.

Based in community and shared by its resident, the play is an amazing opportunity that you don't want to miss!

What's New is a three-year project that presents the changes and challenges of each of the 82 Metropolitan Twin Cities neighborhoods. Featuring work from: Armatage, Beltrami, CARAG, Cedar-Isles-Dean, Ericcson, Hale/Page, Kenny, Lind-Bohanon, Lowry Hill, Shingle Creek and Wenonah neighborhoods.

OverExposure is a nonprofit organization that creates documentary photography projects that engage the community.

IT Intern Job Opening for Remainder of the Summer

Information Technology is now hiring for the Student Intern position. Students in this role will be performing technically advanced work repairing college owned computers, troubleshooting network issues and working on special projects for IT staff.

Part Time Nanny Needed

We are looking for a caring and responsible individual that can come to our house three, half days a week to care for our two year old son. This person should be creative, energetic and committed with a desire to read books, play with play do, go on nature walks and run in the yard with our little man. Previous experience working with children, good references and good communication skills is necessary.

We are a family of four without pets and live close to Lake Nokomis in South Minneapolis. Our older child will be at preschool during the day. We enjoy spending time outside, being creative, being active and exploring. Please contact me if this position interests you.

Days and hours: M,T,W from 1pm to 5pm, occasionally extra hours for nights out. Duration: August 29, 2011 through May 2012.
