Security and Facilities Announcements

Lindell Tree Removal

In 1997 with the construction of Lindell Library a number of maple trees were planted on the north side of 7th Street between Sverdrup and Lindell Library.

In the past 11 years the trees have matured rapidly, and now on the recommendation of a Certified Arborist it has been strongly suggested we thin out the trees to promote healthy growth and the continued existence of the trees remaining.

It is therefore based on the recommendation of the Arborist we will be contracting with our campus tree service to remove every other tree along 7th, south of Lindell. There will be [7] trees in total removed.

If you have any questions regarding this matter please contact David Draus, Director of Facilities and Risk Management [X1033 or draus@augsburg.edu].
