Subject: Faculty/staff volunteers needed for Campus Kitchen

Message: Give back to Augsburg and give back to the community. Volunteers are needed to deliver meals to homeless individuals, youth, and elderly in our community. Connect with the neighborhood and with Augsburg by helping out with the Campus Kitchen over break.

Campus Kitchen needs volunteers for:

Thursday, Jan. 4, 11a.m.-1p.m.
Thursday, Jan. 4, 2-5 p.m.
Tuesday, Jan. 9, 3:30-5:30 p.m.
Thursday, Jan. 11, 11a.m.-1p.m.
Thursday, Jan. 11, 2-5 p.m.

These are all delivery shifts. Volunteers will either serve food at a community center or deliver individual meals to local elderly, depending on the shift. Transportation is provided, and there will be a shift leader taking the group of volunteers.

Message: Due to the holiday break, the President's Wednesday Gathering will be next Wednesday, Jan. 10. Please join other faculty and staff for soup, salad, and community building in the East Commons between 11a.m. and 1:30p.m. The night crew will also be treated to dinner on their shift.

You are also invited to mark your calendars for Tuesday, Jan. 30, 3:30p.m. in the East Commons when President Pribbenow will lead our monthly community information sharing and discussion.

Message: Come to the first Open House of the New Year. On January 11, from 9 to 11a.m., the Administrative Accounting Office will be hosting an Open House for all employees.

Welcome in the New Year by stopping in. We will be rolling out some new and improved web reports, answering all those questions you always wanted to ask, as well as having treats and door prizes.
