Subject: Go-To College transit passes on sale now
Submitter:
Thomas S Ruffaner, Day Custodial Supervisor, Custodial Services

Message: Students can now purchase their winter term Go-To College transit passes at the student services counter in Sverdrup 100. Thanks to this special, heavily discounted pass from Metro Transit, students can use buses and light rail for the entire semester for only $150. This price is a 60.5% discount from the old retail price of 5 monthly bus passes which gives the student all- you-can-ride service for only $30 per month. After February 1, pro-rated passes can still be ordered but there will be a slight delay because those passes will be mailed directly from Metro Transit. Buy early and save the hassle.

Message: Even given the news of his firing this weekend, former U of M Football Coach Glen Mason has indicated he will be speaking tomorrow at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church. Especially given this recent news, we are anxious to hear Coach Mason speak on how his faith shapes his life and his work.

Come find out on tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 7 a.m. at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church. This event is free and open to the public and coffee, juice and pastries are provided. A time for questions will follow Coach Mason's speech.

Augsburg College and St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church have partnered to promote faith@work! to encourage us all to more effectively live out our faith where we work and live, especially those in leadership positions. Directions can be found at www.spdlc.org/about/directions.htm.

Also mark your calendars for future faith@work! events, all at 7 a.m. at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church:
