Message: Join us in celebrating 38 years of dedicated service to Augsburg

I am honored to announce that after 38 years of employment at Augsburg, Herald Johnson was given of the opportunity to retire and has decided to take advantage of it as of July 1, 2006. Although Herald does not know what the future holds, he is looking forward to whatever is in store. He will continue to work with Augsburg on a consulting basis and will be exploring different opportunities, including consulting and volunteer work, and spending time with his family. He is also looking forward to connecting with his extensive network of relationships on a deeper level. Over the past 38 years Herald has worked tirelessly in many areas of Augsburg including student recruitment, enrollment, financial aid, legislative lobbying, and advancement. Please join us in celebrating his incredible service, friendship, and commitment to Augsburg at a farewell party on June 28th from 3 p.m to 5 p.m. in the Minneapolis room.

Daniel Jorgensen, Director of Public Relations, Office of the President

Message: I have a limited number of "Free" tickets for this Friday night's Minnesota Twins' game against the Baltimore Orioles, compliments of President and Mrs. Frame.

The tickets are located along the first base line, lower deck -- great seats!

These will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are interested, please e-mail me at jorgensd@augsburg.edu. I will get the tickets distributed on Friday, so please also let me know where to deliver them to you -- or if you want them left at an office or put in a P.O. Box.

Once the tickets are spoken for, I'll just respond to further e-mail requests with that information. Again, it's first-come, first-served and I'll go by time the e-mails are received.
