John Mitchell, Associate Professor, English Department

Message: A Memorial Service for Dr. Edward (Ed) Sabella, Professor Emeritus in the Economics Department, has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 23, at 4 p.m. in the Hoversten Chapel in the Foss Lobeck Miles Center.

Dr. Sabella was chair of the Business Administration and Economics Departments from 1968-1981. After teaching at the University of Minnesota and the University of St. Thomas, he began teaching at Augsburg College in 1967 and retired August 31, 2000.

Dr. Sabella passed at the Fairview-University Medical Center on May 5, 2006, from complications related to leukemia.

Subject: Sandi Lallak is retiring

Submitter:
Sadie M Curtis, PD Specialist, Access Center

Message: As many of you know, Friday, May 12th, is Sandi's last day at Augsburg College. By the middle of next week Sandi and her husband will be residing in Arizona!

For the last week or so, a journal for Sandi has been available at the information desk in Christensen Center. For those of you who haven't had a chance to stop by and write a farewell message to Sandi, this is a reminder that the journal will be available until Friday afternoon.

Subject: Ann Klamer departs Augsburg

Submitter:
Ann L Garvey, Dean of Students, Academic and Student Affairs

Message: Ann Klamer, Director of Residence Life for the past 9 years, will be leaving Augsburg as of May 31.

Yes, it's true that she is going to truck-driving school as of June 1.

Ann did not want a campus party - but that doesn't mean you can't write or call or send a greeting to thank her for her great work here.
