Subject: Academic Alert reporting - correction

Submitter:
Sheila Anderson, Associate Director of Academic Advising, Academic Advising

Message: Yesterday's A-mail included a reminder to send academic alert messages. Since submitting that message, our fantastic IT department has completed can upgrade that allows faculty to connect to the alert system directly through their Augnet class roster. Please follow the steps below to send an academic alert using Augnet Records and Registration. Please note, you cannot access the alert system through your Moodle class list.

The Academic ALERT message is generated from the Augnet Records and Registration class roster. When logged into Augnet, click on Records and Registration. From Records and Registration, go into the appropriate class roster. Youâll see a ăPrepare Alertä link next to each studentâs name. Click on the link to access the alert message system. Beyond this point, the process should be the same as in previous terms. For the time being, faculty can continue to access the alert system through Augnet Administrative Tasks (the old system). This link will be removed at some future time.

Please contact me (andersos or X1777) if you have difficulty using the academic alert system.

Subject: SAVE THE DATE!

Submitter:
Cynthia J Greenwood, Associate Director, Human Resources

Message: ACTC has chosen the Signature Project as its staff training program for 2005 - 2006. The program is scheduled at Macalester College at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2006.

The Signature Project is a stunning, one-of-a-kind experience. Irish-born artist Patrick Dunning magically combines technology with music, visual art and story-telling to create an event that is funny, inspiring and downright amazing. The springboard for the presentation is a cosmic landscape Dunning originally painted as a 3' x 5' mural in 1992. The art work is now being re-painted with individual signatures of over one million people color-coded to re-create the original on a huge scale--when completed, The Signature Project will fill a space larger than a basketball court. Dunning has presented throughout the U.S. at venues ranging from rural school auditoriums to major urban theatres and convention centers. He has been the featured speaker at diversity celebrations, wellness seminars, and motivational meetings for Fortune 500 companies. The Signature Project is a perfect community-building event that will be remembered forever.

More information about the Signature Project can be found at www.signatureproject.com .

Message: Toshiba Satellite A55-S306
1.5 ghz processor
40 gig of space
32mb video card
256mb memory.
I bought it in Spring of 2004. I will give you office which has word, powerpoint,
excel, and outlook. I have a powercord to plug into the wall. It burns CDs and
plays DVDs too. Comes with great carrying case.
It's fast enough for everyday things--surfing the web, word
processing, photoshop, etc. I'm only getting rid of it because I need a mac for
my design work. Otherwise, it works great.

$500 or B/O
Call Jen for details or to come see it...
