Day Student Parking Permit Sales

Parking permit sale dates and cost information for FALL 2013 is in the attached link. Sales are open Monday for Seniors, Tuesday for Juniors etc. please use the information to find your specific registration date and time!

Please be aware that due to academic schedule changes and the increase in summer activities, Public Safety will require parking permits to be displayed throughout the summer in 2014. Any 2013-14 academic year permit will be acceptable. For example, if a student purchases a fall 2013 permit, that same permit can be used throughout the summer at no extra cost to the student. More information regarding summer 2014 will be available next spring

Wednesday: Lot G Closed

Lot G will be closed for maintenance work on Wednesday, August 28 beginning at 6 a.m. Please park in a different Augsburg parking lot on that morning.

Vehicles parked in lot G will be towed at the owner's expense to prevent damage to vehicles during the maintenance work.

Teaching and Learning

Hands-on Agresso Training - Sept. 13

Budget Managers are encouraged to participate in a hands-on Agresso training session on Sept. 13. The training is offered by the Administrative Accounting and Finance office and will discuss how coding deposits and expenses impact your budget, where you are versus budget/outlook, and how to use Agresso web to find out.

We will in the Sverdrup 201 computer lab between 2-4 p.m.

Remember: This is a hands-on training. You will probe money coming in and going out, so bring your cost center number and questions!

Hosts Needed for Int'l Student Welcome Dinner!

The International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) Office is still looking for 4 more hosts who are interested hosting a welcome dinner for a small group (usually 3-5) of incoming international students between 5 and 8 p.m., Friday (August 31). Hosts will need to provide transportation back and forth between school and their homes. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Jie He at he@augsburg.edu. Your consideration is much appreciated!

Important Campus Box Information for Students

For those of you who are returning day undergraduate students, please read this important information about your campus box:

Due to the large amount of research done each day to identify mail that does not arrive with a campus box number, Central Services will be reassigning ALL campus boxes by alphabetical order. This project will be completed by August 23, 2013. We ask that all students who are currently on campus to please pick up their mail out of their old box as soon as possible.

You will receive an email to your Augsburg email address with your new campus box number by August 26, 2013, however new campus boxes will not take effect until September 2, 2013.

Just a reminder, if you live on campus, your dormitory name and room number is not a part of your college address, the address for all student mail is:

New Mailroom Hours

Beginning September 3, 2013 Central Services will be changing the Mailroom hours to 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The majority of student, staff and faculty mailboxes are accessible from the outside. Faculty and staff mailboxes that are not accessible from the outside will be delivered as arranged or will need to be picked up during the new hours of operation. If you need access to your non accessible mailbox, you may do so by stopping by Shipping and Receiving on the lower level of Christensen and someone will assist you.

If you have any questions, please direct them to the mailroom staff at ext. 1119.
