General Announcements

SOAR Soars

Congratulations to the Campus Activities and Orientation staff for an incredible summer orientation experience. Joanne Reeck-Irby and Michael Grewe championed one of the most important Augsburg programs. Nearly all of the first-year class attended one of three SOAR sessions with a large contingent of families. Joanne and Michael's hard work resulted in record numbers at the evening parent SOAR session. The two Student Orientation Coordinators, Laura Steines and Patrick DuSchane, coordinated the logistics seamlessly at each event and guided the Orientation Leaders throughout the day and night. The unending energy of the Orientation Leaders made the participants feel like rock stars. The first-year class left campus with nothing but Auggie pride.

The Orientation Leaders are: Jeb Bates, Cory Booker, Jasa Brockel, Anya Cleaver, Casey Collins, Michael Fetting, Sally Fifield, Ellese Ford, Darius Gray, Celia Hernandez-Payan, Janelle Holte, Maya Keith, Christopher Kopp, Elizabeth Moy, Rose Nguyen, Jakkee Phillips, Alexander Rhees, Amineh Safi, Tyler Salone, Julie Vo, Chelsey Waala, Hannah Youngquist.

Thanks for all of your hard work and enthusiasm!!!!
