About the Workshop
We're doing something different for the post-labor day week Tapas. Come and see a sneak preview of a new service we are implementing this summer: Adobe Connect.
Adobe Connect is a system that hosts webinars or virtual classrooms. It works equally well for meetings or interactive sessions with students at a distance. You can use your webcam, share a power point or PDF, share your computer screen and more! You can even create a virtual classroom activity in moodle with a few clicks. All you need to use it is a web browser and flash -- or even your iPhone/iPad!
We plan to have this completed later this summer but are able to do a sneak preview now for this Tapas. We'll be showing how it works and can answer questions about how it could be useful for you.

A-Club Golf Tournament - June 27
Please join us on Monday, June 27th for the 48th Annual Clair Strommen A-Club Golf Tournament. Gather a foursome together or register as an individual and get ready for a great day of golf and fellowship with Augsburg Alumni, parents, students and other Auggie friends.
This year's tournament will be at the Oak Glen Golf Course in Stillwater, Minnesota with a shotgun start at noon. The day includes: 18 holes of golf with cart, range balls, five $5 raffle tickets, lunch and dinner -- all for the price of only $125.

First Wednesday Gathering
Please join faculty and staff colleagues for First Wednesday Gathering lunch today in the East Commons from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
The security and custodial night shift employees are also invited to the Wednesday Evening Gathering at 8 p.m. in the Augsburg Room.
The first-Wednesday-of-the-month gatherings support our commitment to building community and practicing common work. They are an opportunity to get to know one another, exchange ideas, and collaborate in new ways. We hope you will invite your colleagues and plan to join us!
