Date Change: Aug. 9 @ 11 a.m. Anderson Brian E. Goodbye

Please join us August 9, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Anderson lobby to wish him well.

The Department of Residence Life extends a warm good bye to Brian Emerick as he departs August 11, 2010 for St. Cloud State University - to be an Area Coordinator in the Department of Residential Life.

Beginning July 2007 - Brian was instrumental in building a successful leadership and training program for the department, directing the Summer Residential program in 2009, and creating engaged communities in Luther and Anderson Hall. Brian's talents extended beyond his work at Augsburg - through leadership in ATCCHA (2009-2010) and UMR committees (2008-2009, 2009-2010). Whether working with first year students, special interest housing, or developing new professionals in our department - Brian embodied the values and respect laid out in Augsburg College's mission and vision.

Daycare

My great neighbors need some help with their great little baby. Here's his note, please let him know if you have any resources:

We're looking for a daycare arrangement for our 12 month old. We're interested in places / people that don't clean with toxic chemicals, can handle cloth diapers, and either have organic snacks or let us pack our own. Our schedules are somewhat flexible, but what we're hoping for is daycare three days a week with one of us home with her Monday and Friday. Please let us know if you're interested!
