General Announcements

Tree removal in the Quad

As you may have noticed, the Facilities department has contracted to take out a tree in the quad area of the campus. Trees in general are a precious resource to our campus particularly in the quad area.

The reason this tree was removed was based on the advise of an arborist contracted by the College as it was determined the tree was dying of a condition called "root collar". Essentially, this means the root system was growing around the base of the tree as opposed to growing out. This end result of this condition kills the tree.

MAL Info Session Tues. July 13, Noon, OEC100

The best way to learn more about the MA in Leadership is to attend an information session. So join us on Tuesday, July 13, from 12 - 1 p.m. in OGC100 for pizza and to learn about the master's degree so many leaders, both at Augsburg and in the community, say has changed their lives, has sharpened their understanding of themselves and others, and has opened doors that would otherwise have remained closed.
