Parking Lot CLOSURES
Parking Lot A and D will be closed on Thursday July 8 from 6 am to noon for repair and re-striping.
Parking lot J and H (Oren surface lot) will be closed on Friday July 9th from 6 am to noon for repair and re-striping. Please do not park in these areas.
Orange reminder signs will be posted at lot entrances. Vehicles parked in these areas will be towed at the owner's expense. Thank you for your cooperation!
Public Safety searches license plates in Parking Services to attempt to call owners before we tow. Is your vehicle registered in your Parking Services profile?

DONATIONS WELCOME FOR 2010 AUGSBURG ASSOCIATES FALL LUNCHEON SILENT AUCTION
It may seem a bit early, but we all know how time flies. We want to remind you of our Augsburg Associates Fall Luncheon and Silent Auction now so you will have time to consider what quality items you may wish to donate for the auction. Profits from the auction go to student scholarships, so is a worthy cause. We have noticed that some items that go well besides theme baskets are:
Antiques, art pieces, autographed books, children’s books and toys, cds and dvds, candles, vases, silver, handmade items, Norwegian items, sports memorabilia, designer jewelry, designer accessories, designer sweaters or jackets, gift certificates for day spas, theaters, cultural events, hair salons, sporting events and bed and breakfasts.
PLEASE LET US KNOW WHAT YOU PLAN TO DONATE BY August 1, 2010, by calling Sharon Ronning, 651-439-5104 (ronningdesign@yahoo.com), Marilyn Gronner, 612-861-3422 (marilyn_cg@comcast.com), or Liz Horton (hortonea@aol.com). All items should be delivered to Augsburg Alumni Relations by September 7th. If you need your item to be picked up this can be arranged -- just let us know when you call with your donation information. The Fall Luncheon is scheduled for Wednesday, October 13th at the Town & Country Club in St. Paul. We hope you will join us for the luncheon too!! Thank you for your generosity in the past and in advance for this year!!
One Host Needed for UIC-China Student July 23-25
We are looking for one more Augsburg faculty or staff person to provide a weekend home stay for UIC-China students who will be doing a 5-week summer program at Augsburg.
The home stay will take place the weekend of July 23-25. Students would need to be picked up at Augsburg about 5pm Friday, July 23, and returned to Augsburg between 12-5pm on Sunday, July 25.

MAL Information Session Tuesday, July 13, Noon, OGC100
The best way to learn more about the MA in Leadership is to attend an information session. So join us on Tuesday, July 13, from 12 – 1 p.m. in OGC100 for pizza and to learn about the master’s degree so many leaders, both at Augsburg and in the community, say has changed their lives, has sharpened their understanding of themselves and others, and has opened doors that would otherwise have remained closed.

Couch/Futon
Hi,
We have a couch in our new apartment that is just too large for the space. We are looking for someone who is interested in purchasing a couch (slightly used but still in good condition). Star Wars in Concert Tickets For Sale
I'm selling two tickets to "Star Wars in Concert" for the 3pm show on Sunday, July 11 at Xcel Energy Center. I'm selling them at face value for $57.50 each (no Ticket Master charges). These are nice seats in the lower level with a straight on view of the stage.
