General Announcements

Did you complete the communications survey?

Thank you to those of you who completed our (paper) survey about communications at Augsburg! We learned some important lessons that will help us and help YOU communicate about news and events. For example, more than half of the students who responded only read the A-mail "sometimes," and students find out about events from friends (19%), posters (17%), and faculty or staff (15%).

If you didn't complete the survey, do it at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=Kzl6QU9uf_2fDmwUXkvhP7wg_3d_3d. We will share the results with student governments and with curious campus departments.

English majors

Senior English Majors:

Are you interested in reading something you have written while here at Augsburg? This is Sam and Amanda, your student representatives of the English Department. As fellow seniors we are hoping you could provide your ideas to the prospect of having an "open book reading" this spring. The English professors are working with us on creating an event where we could share our writings with family, faculty and friends. It is vital for you to share your thoughts on what the night should be. WE get to create it for US! Please reply to either one of us.

The reading would be followed with a reception, including dessert and thoughtful conversation with friends, family and faculty. If you have any other recommendations or questions, feel free to contact us or any of the professors in the English department. The event is being created for us! Thank you for your help!
