Green Fact of the Day
Though Americans make up just 4% of the world's population, we produce 25% of the carbon dioxide pollution from fossil-fuel burning -- more than China, India and Japan combined, and by far the largest share of any country. We can make a difference even here in the United States. Start biking or walking instead of driving! There are lots of Earth-friendly lifestyle changes that can be done to make our world a healthier place to live!

Wednesday Gathering

Independence Day Picnic today from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in the Commons area. Security and custodial night shift employees should come to the Minneapolis Room between 7 - 9 p.m. tonight. Today's menu includes hot dogs, veggie burgers, potato salad, chips and lemonade.
The first-Wednesday-of-the-month gatherings support our commitment to building community and practicing common work. They are an opportunity to get to know one another, exchange ideas, and collaborate in new ways. We hope you will invite your colleagues and plan to join us!
Summer Session II Is Starting Soon
Two graduation requirements, HPE001 and REL300, still have spots available for Summer Session II. If you would like to finish these requirements over the summer, you still have time to register.

Holiday Hours for Undergraduate Admissions
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will be closing on Thursday, July 3 at 3 p.m. and will also be closed on July 4. The office will reopen Monday, July 7 at 8:30 a.m.
The Welcome Desk in Christensen Center will also be closing at 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 3 and be closed on Friday, July 4. The Welcome Desk will also reopen on Monday, July 7 at 8:30 a.m. If you need assistance and the Welcome Desk is closed, please contact the Department of Public Safety at 612-330-1717.
