Tribal Special Education Cohort Info Session THIS Saturday

Licensure in Special Education
You need a BA/BS degree in any field
Application Deadline: June 1, 2008 for Fall 2008


University of MN-Duluth and Augsburg College offer a two-year cooperative special education post-baccalaureate licensure program in emotional behavioral disorders and learning disabilities, with a tribal focus, will begin Fall 2008. The hybrid online program will be offered through the University of Minnesota Duluth and Augsburg College. Designed for working professionals and those with a bachelor's degree in any subject area, students will meet face-to-face 2 times a semester in Hinckley and complete coursework online. The online courses are created for working students wishing to remain in their own communities while pursuing new educational opportunities. Financial aid is available to qualifying students.

Artist Receptions Today, May 16

All are welcome to attend the opening receptions for two new art exhibitions this Friday evening 5:30-7:30 p.m.

In the Christensen Center Art Gallery, Chicago photographer Doug McGoldrick recreates learning environments from the point of view of someone (himself) who has struggled with a learning disabilities.

In the Gage Family Art Gallery, Minneapolis artist Gregory Euclide draws, paints, and sculpts landscapes that are as visually complex as they are aesthetically pleasing.

Both exhibitions will be on view through July 11, but this is your only opportunity to meet the artists.
