This Week's TechTip - Student Webmail Preferences

Students, did you know that you can choose different ways of viewing the new AugNet Webmail? Three different interface styles are available; "Basic" and "Simple" are good choices for most students.

The "Basic" interface includes the familiar check boxes for selecting and moving messages. The "Simple" interface allows you to drag and drop messages to sort them into folders (even the Trash can)!

Try them out: After logging into Webmail, click "Settings" and then "Interface Style", then choose a style from the pull down menu and click "Save Settings."

If you have questions about this or any other aspect of student technology at Augsburg, please contact the TechDesk! We're here to assist students with their technology needs. We're available in person (Lindell Library 104), on the phone (612-330-1400), by e-mail at techdesk@augsburg.edu, and on the web at http://www.augsburg.edu/techdesk for your convenience.
