Subject: Augsburg Wireless changes
Submitter:
Scott Krajewski, Director of Information Technology Services, Information Technology

Message: As the campus need for wireless internet access continues to grow and change, the IT department is making some changes on August 20 to the campus wireless network. The current wireless network, called Augnet, which is used by faculty, staff and students will be removed from service on August 20 and in its place are 2 new wireless networks, Aug-FacStaff and Aug-Student. These new networks are already available for use. If your computer is using the Augnet wireless network you will need to reconfigure it to use the new wireless network based on audience -- faculty and staff or student. Faculty and staff should contact their LFC to have their college laptop reconfigured. Students should contact Student Computing or check the Student Computing website for updated connection instructions http://www.augsburg.edu/stucomp/wireless/ .

Subject: Farmers' Market at Brian Coyle - Fridays from 2-5
Submitter:
Brian Noy, Campus Kitchen Coordinator, Center for Service, Work and Learning

Message: The Brian Coyle Community Center is hosting a weekly farmers' market every Friday from 2 to 5 near the front doors of the building. A few local farmers, including a very local farmer from the Korean Peace Garden, will ensure that your fridge and cuisine is full of the freshest products around. These farmers have also been kind enough to donate to our Campus Kitchen.

Please go soon, as many of the farmers lost much of their crops during the storms this last week.

Thanks, and enjoy the market!

Subject: Auggie Days Event Registration
Submitter:
Will O'Berry, Asst. Dir., Campus Activities & Orientation/Coord LGBTQIA Srv, Campus Activities and Orientation

Message: In an effort to collaborate with each of Augsburg's departments and offices, Campus Activities & Orientation would like to know what events you have planned that take place during Auggie Days. We will be using this information as we continue to plan for Auggie Days, our intention being to create a brochure that will present a comprehensive schedule of events.

Auggie Days will begin Saturday, September 1 and run through Sunday, September 9. Previously a shorter schedule, Auggie Days has been extended to allow for more transitional programs and ultimately a better experience for our students.

Please submit the Auggie Days Event Registration Form to our department no later than noon on Friday, August 17. Please disregard the due date printed on the form itself. The form can be found here:
http://web.augsburg.edu/~oberry/Auggie_Days_Event_Registration_Form.pdf

Please do not hesitate to contact Will O'Berry with any questions or concerns.
