Message: Congratulations to Jill Pohtilla and Sarah Griesse, winners of the two free parking permits for 2007-2008. These two winners were drawn out of a pool of over 160 faculty and staff that registered during the first week of parking sales. Thank you to all who participated.

Message: Employees who submit their key request by the July 30 deadline can pick-up their keys and an access FOB at dispatch. Individual employees must pick-up their own keys. Keys can be picked-up 24 hours a day at the Public Safety desk in the Urness Mort lobby.

I encourage you to pick-up and test your keys BEFORE your scheduled move-in date. The new locks in your office area may be stiffer than what you are accustomed to. Please call Public Safety at x1717 if you have questions regarding or problems with your locks or card access.

Message: Rachel Vallens, Augsburg's Campus Kitchen Coordinator, is leaving us and heading off to graduate school in Wisconsin! She has done a wonderful job this year to deepen the program's impact in the community and has built a strong student leadership team and volunteer base. This is Rachel's last week at Augsburg.

I would also like to introduce our new Campus Kitchen Coordinator, Brian Noy, who began August 6. Brian comes to us from a rich background in local foods and community organizing. Be sure to welcome Brian to the Augsburg community.

Subject: Auggie Days Event Registration
Submitter:
Will O'Berry, Asst. Dir., Campus Activities & Orientation/Coord LGBTQIA Srv, Campus Activities and Orientation

Message: In an effort to collaborate with each of Augsburg's departments and offices, Campus Activities & Orientation would like to know what events you have planned that take place during Auggie Days. We will be using this information as we continue to plan for Auggie Days, our intention being to create a brochure that will present a comprehensive schedule of events.

Auggie Days will begin Saturday, September 1 and run through Sunday, September 9. Previously a shorter schedule, Auggie Days has been extended to allow for more transitional programs and ultimately a better experience for our students.

Please submit the Auggie Days Event Registration Form to our department no later than noon on Friday, August 17. Please disregard the due date printed on the form itself. The form can be found here:
http://web.augsburg.edu/~oberry/Auggie_Days_Event_Registration_Form.pdf

Please do not hesitate to contact Will O'Berry with any questions or concerns.
