Subject: Parking Permit Information 2007-08

Message: Parking season is here! Please visit our website at www.augsburg.edu/dps/permitreg.html for detailed information about 2007-08 parking permit sales.

Sales for all permits begin within the first two weeks of August. All registration must be completed online. Check the website above to find the specific time(s) you will be able to register online. Ticketing for all campus lots will begin the first day of class- September 5.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FACULTY/STAFF:
This year, the payroll deduction form will be used to pay any outstanding ticket fees at the same time as your 2007-08 permit. If you do not want your outstanding ticket fees to be paid by your payroll deduction form, please pay those tickets before purchasing your 2007-2008 permit online.

If you are unsure of any outstanding fees, log-in to Parking Services on Augnet to check the status of your account.

Message: It is my pleasure to announce the arrival of three new staff in the Department of Residence Life. Amanda Erdman, the new Director of Residence Life, comes to Augsburg from Cornell University (the "other" one in New York state). Amanda received her B.A. from Coe College and her master's degree at the University of Northern Iowa. She brings excellent experience in residence life programs, multiculturalism, and women's issues. Her new telephone extension is x1558. The two new Hall Directors are Brian Emerick (HD in New Hall) and Michael Perry (HD in Mortensen). Brian worked in Admissions at the University of Iowa where he received his master's degree. Michael comes to us from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He received his master's degree from UWO. As a point of interest, Phillip Hernandez (formerly the HD in Mortensen) is moving to the new Oren Gateway Center and will be the very first HD there. Please join Student Affairs in welcoming our new staff.
