Subject: Science Museum Tour

Submitter:
Joseph B. Underhill-Cady, Associate Professor, Political Science

Message: Students from the "Environmental and River Politics" course will be having a tour of the Science Museum of Minnesota's "Science House" and "Big Back Yard" on this Thursday, June 15, from 6:30 - 8 p.m. The Science House is a cutting-edge building that generates more energy than it uses in the course of a year, and the "Big Back Yard" models various aspects of local watersheds (and involves some miniature golf as well!). We have room for a few more people to join us. Contact Prof. Underhill-Cady if you are interested in this free tour at x1312 or cady@augsburg.edu.

Subject: The Future of CTL

Submitter:
Theresa L Martin, Administrative Assistant, Center for Teaching and Learning

Message: Colleagues:

You are cordially invited to a coffee to discuss ideas around the visibility and support of faculty scholarship and research through CTL. This will be a brainstorming session as CTL moves to a model that is evolving significantly. I would welcome your ideas and input. Please join us in the CC Coffee shop on Wednesday, June 14th at 1:30. This will not be the only opportunity for input, but I would like to get ideas this summer. Please invite anyone else you think would be interested.

Thanks.
Diane Pike
