All faculty and staff are invited to attend sessions of interest to them in the First Year Student Workshop on Tuesday, May 23 and Wednesday, May 24 (see schedule). The first two morning sessions on May 23 and the LASSI session on May 24 are intended primarily for AugSem faculty, (although LASSI may have broader interest). But other sessions are open to all. Contact Terry Martin martin@augsburg.edu by May 20th for a reservation.

Subject: Receptions for two art exhibits this Saturday!

Message: Join us this Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. as we celebrate the opening of two new art exhibitions.

Native artists Missy Whiteman and Jonathan Thunder will be discussing their multimedia artwork showcased in "Invisible Spirit" at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the Gage Gallery. Their short films are the final feature of Augsburg's 2006 Native Film Series.

Kathleen Moroney's evocative ceramic work is featured in "Nesting Place," on view in the Christensen Center Art Gallery. Meet the artist on Saturday and learn more about how her Irish background inspires her work on Thursday, June 8 at 7 p.m.

- Looking for a roommate interested in a move-in date of possibly the summer, but at least for the upcoming 2006/2007 school term.
