š The Selection Board will conduct confidential interviews with various members of the community and make awards by March 31st. Awardees will be acknowledged at Faculty and All-Staff meetings in April and at the Honors Convocation. Opportunities for winners to share ideas with the campus community will take place the year following the award.

Timothy Dougherty, Campus Kitchens Supervisor, Center for Service Work and Learning

Message: All of us at the Campus Kitchen at Augsburg College would like to extend a HUGE thank you to Ross Murray and the Augsburg Mentoring Group for their service project last Thursday.

Thanks to your efforts, we were able to produce 235 bag lunches, which we immediately delivered to the Secure Waiting Homeless shelter behind the Target Center. Your work allowed every person staying in the shelter to have a nutritious lunch on Friday.

If any departments or individuals would like to deepen their outreach to the community, please consider the Campus Kitchen for a special project, a one-time service event, or an ongoing volunteer partnership. We continue to expand and want to fully make use of the talents we have in our community.

If you are interested in a special project, please get in touch with me at 1624 or tdougherty@campuskitchens.org. If you'd like to volunteer, send an email to Chris Stedman at ckac@campuskitchens.org

Thanks again to the Mentoring Group. You've proven, once again, that Augsburg is fertile vocational soil for innovative solutions like the Campus Kitchen!
