Subject: Water Fixture Project

Submitter:
David Draus, Director of Facilities and Risk Management, Facilities Management

Message: Starting TUE/1.31.06, Hydrametrics will be on campus to re-engineer all water fixture components [toilets, sinks, showers, etc.].

The project should be completed around 2.17.06. During the course of this project in general use buildings, i.e., Foss, Music, Memorial, etc. you may experience a shut down of a restroom facility for a short period of time, probably no more than 1-1.5 hours depending on the number of fixtures.

As for resident halls occupants, you will be notified at least 24 hours in advance of the work to be done in your building. In most cases, you will not experience any inconvenience as the work will be completed during the day when most living spaces are unoccupied.

At completion, the benefits of this project will result in; reduced water consumption on campus, reduced maintenance inventory, reduced utility cost, and higher reliability of fixture components.

Any questions regarding this project can be directed to draus@augsburg.edu.
