Important - Academic Calendar & Fee Changes

Hello,

The following changes have been made in the Registrar's Office and Student Financial Services:

Academic Calendar
The Academic Calendars for 2013-2016 at www.augsburg.edu/registrar/calendars have been updated to include the last days to receive a 100% and 50% refund for courses. We would like to remind you to refer to the website for the most current Academic Calendar information, especially given the numerous changes for next year. We encourage you not to print copies.

Late Registration Fee
Effective for Fall 2013-forward we will no longer assess a late registration fee of $150 for students who do not have advising and registration completed by the Friday prior to the first day of the semester. A deadline is still being published on the Academic Calendars as we want students to have these steps completed prior to the start of the semester.

Administrative Fee
Effective for Summer 2013-forward we will no longer assess a $100 administrative fee for dropping all term courses without notation (W).

Student Standing Petition Fee
Effective June 10, 2013-forward we will no longer charge a fee for any petition reason. The Academic/Student Standing Petition form has been updated. Please be sure to access the most current forms from our website and destroy any old forms in your possession.

If you have any questions about these changes please let us know.

Best Regards,
Crystal Comer, Registrar & Cory Snyder, Associate Director of Student Accounts
