Do Good with Rotary Roses Fundraiser

Please consider supporting a Rotary fundraiser in which two Auggies (adjunct faculty member Colleen Watson and MarComm staffer Steff Weiss) are participating for the West St. Paul-Mendota Heights Rotary Club.

The two are selling roses as part of their club's annual fundraiser, and that supports local organizations throughout Dakota County including:
--ALMAS, a Henry Sibley High School youth group for Chicano/Latino(a) students.
--Neighbors Inc., an emergency food shelf experiencing record-high demand.
--Guild Inc., an organization that provides emergency shelter for homeless individuals with mental illness, as well as a broad range of other supports.

A dozen roses are only $15, and almost half of the money goes directly to the club to support local projects. In addition, the club contributes to worldwide polio eradication efforts, and is involved in a project to refurbish a homeless shelter for children in Belize.

Roses are available in red or "lollipop," a mix of pastels. The cost is only $15/dozen. Orders can be emailed to Steff Weiss (weisss@augsburg.edu), and payment in advance is requested. The deadline to order is April 18, and delivery will be made April 25.

Thanks for your support!
