Parking Permit Sales & Parking Lot Closures

PARKING PERMIT SALES:
Fall Parking information has been updated online. Please visit http://www.augsburg.edu/dps/parking_permits.html for specific information about permit types, permit prices, registration dates, and the registration process.

Faculty/staff sales will begin Monday August 9th at 8:30 am. Those that register for a permit by August 20th, will be entered into a drawing to win a free permit. Faculty/Staff underground permits will go on sale Sept 3rd at 8:30 am.

Day Student sales begin on August 30th at 8:30 a.m. and continue throughout the week, based on student credit standing. Please view the website for details.

Other details regarding underground permits, carpool permits, and city street permits are currently online at http://www.augsburg.edu/dps/parking_permits.html

LOT CLOSURES:
Parking Lot J will be closed on Friday July 30th through August 13th for a construction project.
Parking Lot G will be closed (the North end) July 29th and 30th for a demolition project.
Please watch for reminder signs at lot entrances. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this busy time.

Vehicles parked in these areas will be towed at the owner’s expense. Public Safety searches license plates in Parking Services to attempt to call owners before we tow. Log in to Parking Services on Augnet to make sure your vehicle is accurately registered.

Renaissance Festival Tickets in HR

Human Resources has discount tickets available for the Renaissance Festival. We are selling tickets at the following prices: Adult - $15.95, Kids - $8.50, Food Books - $5.00. Please bring correct change or check. We cannot accept credit card.

The Renaissance Festival runs August 21st - October 3rd weekends and Labor Day, and Friday, October 1st. Open 9am - 7pm. Tickets are valid for any date the Festival is open.

This is an incredible deal—regular ticket prices are $20.95 for adults, $11.95 for kids, and $6.00 for food books! Stop down in HR to pick up your tickets today!

Support the Lupus Foundation of Minnesota

The Lupus Foundation of Minnesota is committed to serve those affected by lupus, raise awareness about the disease, and fund research in an ongoing effort to improve the lives of others.

Some Augsburg colleagues have formed "The Riverside Ramblers" team for the Lupus Walk for Hope & 5K Trail run taking place on September 11. We are looking for sponsors to help us reach our team goal of $1500. You are welcome to join our team and participate in the event as well!

We have been notified that Augsburg Fortress will no longer be automatically sending out their little red appointment books. If you wish to order one for 2010-11, you will need to go to www.augsburgfortress.org. Orders must be received by July 31.
