Public Safety and Facilities Announcements

Public Safety Cell Phone Drive

The Department of Public Safety is collecting used wireless phones and their batteries to benefit victims of domestic violence. Shelter Alliance will donate money to the Tubman Family Alliance Organization in Minneapolis for every used cell phone they receive from our department. Please be sure to deactivate your service before donating a phone. Donations are being accepted at the Dispatch booth in the Mort/Urness lobby. Any personal data found on the phone will be erased by Shelter Alliance, a program of GRC Wireless Recycling. Thank You!

Augsburg Fortress "Little Red Books"

We have been notified that Augsburg Fortress will no longer be automatically sending out their little red appointment books. If you wish to order one for 2010-11, you will need to go to www.augsburgfortress.org. Orders must be received by July 31.

Car Wash at Coyle on Friday the 23rd

This Friday, the Brian Coyle Community Center Action Crew youth group is having a car wash from 2-5 pm as a fundraiser. Action Crew does a variety of community work in the Cedar-Riverside community to improve the area as volunteers. Action Crew consists of youth middle schools volunteers.

Come get your car washed and help a great cause!

2 Solid Oak Twin Beds $50 each

I have 2 solid oak finish twin beds for $50 each.

Made by Young America, and purchased at Becker 5 years ago, this beds are in WONDERFUL condition!They were used by my kids from age 3 to 8 and remain sturdy, and good looking.

Beds can be set up as a bunkbed or separately.Beds include:

Headboard
Footboard
Slatted base
Solid base for in between mattress and slatted base
