Tuesday, May 18 Convocation - Rochester

There is a convocation scheduled for Tuesday, 18 May, at 7pm on the Rochester campus. GMAT Prep - Register Soon

Thinking about a Master of Business Administration program after graduation? Most MBA programs require the GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) for admission. The Augsburg MBA Program is partnering with the Princeton Review to provide GMAT preparation at a discounted rate.

The course will meet Wednesdays 6-9 p.m. for seven weeks (June 2, 9, 16, 23, & 30, and July 7 & 14). The cost is $549, which includes access to the Princeton Review's online student center, the Manual for the GMAT 8.3, and the GMAT Review 12th edition.

To register, contact Princeton Review by calling 612-676-1447, or stop by the MBA office in Oren Gateway suite 115 to pick up a registration form.

Sign Up for Community Service Days

The traditional Campus Beautification event has been expanded this year to include community service projects off campus. This will allow more campus members to get involved and offer greater variety of projects. Members of the Augsburg community are invited to join us in the following projects June 14-16, 2010.

Women's Resource Center Survey for Faculty and Staff

Lots of Stuff at the Reuse Table

There are a lot of items at the REUSE table that have been left by those cleaning out their offices or desks. If you are in need of large white notebooks, racks and other office supplies please check out the REUSE TABLE today. If you have office and other small items you think others would use leave them at the REUSE TABLE on ground floor of Christensen Center just inside the student activities suite. THANKS!

Auggie Baseball in MIAC Playoffs

Augsburg is making its second-ever appearance in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference baseball postseason playoffs this weekend in Dundas and Northfield, Minn.

The No. 4-seed Auggies will open the playoffs on Friday (5/14) at 3:30 p.m., facing top-seed St. Thomas at Dundas Memorial Park. No. 3-seed St. John's will face No. 2-seed Concordia-Moorhead at 3:30 p.m. at Sechler Park in Northfield. The winners of the first-round games will meet at 7 p.m. in Dundas, with the losers meeting in an elimination game at 7 p.m. in Northfield.

Action will continue in the tournament on Saturday and Sunday (5/15-16), with the tournament champion receiving an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III national tournament.

All Augsburg games will feature live audio webcasts, via the Augsburg athletic website -- http://athletics.augsburg.edu . Click on the "Auggies Live" link to access the games, as well as game notes.
