Moratorium for Classroom Changes

Beginning today, Wednesday, January 6th at 5 p.m. we will not make any room changes for both Spring Semester (2009SEM2) and Winter Trimester (2009TRI2). This moratorium will reduce confusion on where to meet for your first class session. After first class session we will end the moratorium and process room change requests.

If room changes are made after Friday, January 1st Classroom Services will post a room change sign on the old room door and post an announcement in Moodle (which sends an email to the professor and currently enrolled students).

It is important to check Records and Registration for the most up-to-date classroom assignments.

If you have any questions or need to make a room change please contact Classroom Services at classrooms@augsburg.edu

Thanks!

Did You Miss the Web Time Entry Training?

Due to the high number of biweekly employees and student or biweekly supervisors who were unable to attend the web time entry training sessions held in December, we have scheduled two additional sessions. These sessions will be held on Thursday and Friday of this week to allow preparation for completion of the first pay period of on-line time entry, which ends this Saturday, 1/9/10.

The sessions will both be held in Sverdrup 205. Dates and times are as follows:

Thursday, 1/7/10, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Friday, 1/8/10 – 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.

These sessions are important to learn how to utilize this software. Training videos for biweekly employees and supervisors have not yet been completed. Student training videos have been available on the Human Resources website for viewing; however, these training videos do not cover the items that need to be used by biweekly employees or supervisors. Therefore, we encourage attendance by any biweekly employee s and student or biweekly supervisors who did not attend a previous training session.

If you have questions, please contact HR at ext. 1058.

We hope to see many of you on Thursday or Friday!
