The following is the schedule for Si Melby Hall and Kennedy Center. Please note that we will be closed for the extended holiday weekend beginning on Thursday, July 2.
Saturday, June 27 & Sunday, June 28: CLOSED
Monday, June 29 – Wednesday, July 1: 6:00am to 10:00pm
Thursday, July 2 – Sunday, July 5: CLOSED
Monday, July 6 – Thursday, July 9: 6:00am – 10:00pm

Underwater Adventure Tickets
Human Resources has discount tickets available for Underwater Adventures Aquarium at the Mall of America. We are selling tickets at the following prices: Adult - $9.00, Kids (3-12) - $5.00. Please bring correct change.

Community Time Tuesday
Take a breather in the cool comfort of the East Commons to enjoy refreshments and conversation with faculty and staff colleagues in the East Commons on Tuesday, June 30, 3:45-4:30.
First Wednesday Gathering
Please join us for First Wednesday Gathering on Wednesday, July 1, in the East Commons from 11 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The security and custodial night shift employees are also invited to the Wednesday Evening Gathering at 8 p.m. in the Minneapolis Room.
The first-Wednesday-of-the-month gatherings support our commitment to building community and practicing common work. They are an opportunity to get to know one another, exchange ideas, and collaborate in new ways. We hope you will invite your colleagues and plan to join us!

Meet at the Coyle Center
Enjoy Ice Cream after the Walk!
What is the Safety Walk? It is a gathering of local people who walk around the neighborhood with yellow vests to increase the safety presence in the area and pick up trash to keep the streets clean.
Our normal Safety Walk is every Tuesday and Friday at 7 pm. We're starting early this time so there is time for ice cream at the end!

Clarification To Staff Regarding July 2 Holiday
As we were advised a while ago at the All Hands Meeting, President Pribbenow has graciously proclaimed July 2, 2009, as an additional paid holiday. This applies to all non-union benefits eligible employees, both exempt and non-exempt. It is in addition to the paid day off on July 3rd to recognize Independence Day.
To indicate these days off and to be ensured payment for the day, please indicate the number of hours to be paid, prorated for those working less than 1.0 FTE, with the code PH (President’s Holiday) on July 2nd and with the code H (July 4th Holiday) on July 3rd. This is to be done on timesheets or absence reports, depending on which the employee is required to complete.
If a supervisor feels it is necessary for an employee to work on July 2nd, please make arrangements with the employee to take another day off the next week and mark it as PH in the same manner noted above.
