Community Organizing with Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry and the Lilly Grant are teaming up to sponsor some workshops on faith-based community organizing. Our first session is next Thursday, October 30, at 6:30 p.m. in the East Commons. We will be learning from Lyle Griner, National Director of Peer Ministry, about inviting and welcoming.

Many of us spend time working in organizations across the campus that are dear to our heart, but sometimes we have a hard time getting the message across to others. This time will be spent learning how to approach folks, invite them into programs or activities, and make folks feel welcome.

All are welcome to attend. These will help your organizations greatly!
