General Announcements

Join Your Colleagues in Campus Kitchen

With students not quite back on campus, the Campus Kitchen Project needs assistance to cover shifts (especially cooking and Sunday shifts) into September. Please join us for a evening or two (you can even get paid with your 16 hours of community service)! See if your friends have already signed up by checking out our new volunteer calendar here: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pnEnj5_k0ileAHqYy1-a6PA&hl=en and let me know if any opportunities work for you.

Besides preparing and delivering meals, we're constructing a hoop style, smaller greenhouse near the garden to produce veggies into the winter. If you have any or no carpentry skills and would like to help, we'll be working on it every afternoon next week. Let me know if you can come. Thanks in advance! campuskitchen@augsburg.edu

Remember, all staff have 16 paid hours of community service that can go towards assisting us.

2) Auggie Ultimate competitive league Ultimate: Play competitively against other schools in Minnesota in tournaments throughout the year and in the playoffs season in the spring.

If you are interested in either of these, please email Phil Brown (brownp@augsburg.edu) and/or the ultimate email (fever@augsburg.edu).
