Lindell Library Open While Internet Is Down
On Friday evening, June 13, after 6 p.m., campus connections to the Internet will be down (due to a recent car accident that damaged fiber optic cables -- really!) Service is expected by Saturday morning.
The Library will remain open Friday evening.
You will be able to:
Study with peers
Read paper journals and books
Check out books and videos
Word process and print your papers
Scan and save documents in AugNet
Edit video files you’ve saved in AugNet network folders
Access moodle
E-mail to an Augsburg address
You will NOT be able to:
Use databases to find articles
Use CLICnet to locate books, videos, reserves
Search non-Augsburg web sites

Standing Catering Orders

We do not have any catering orders that were submitted through Sodexo. June 29 Commencement

As we look ahead to the final Commencement ceremony of 2007-2008, I want to take a moment to thank you for your work in the classroom, and your advising and mentoring of our graduating students over the past academic year. I invite your participation at the June 29 Commencement for Weekend College, Rochester, United/Mercy/Unity Hospitals Program, Master of Arts in Education, Master of Arts in Leadership, Master in Business Administration, Master of Arts in Nursing, and Master of Social Work students.

JUMP in the Chapel on Sunday
JUMP worship is going to be held this Sunday at 4:30 p.m. in the chapel. Anyone from the Campus community or the neighborhood is welcome to join us.
JUMP is a hip-hop worship that developed in Minneapolis, and has been moving around on a monthly basis. It is being led by youth and staff of Redeemer Lutheran Church in North Minneapolis.
JUMP is a part of the Augsburg College Youth Theology Institute, and youth from the institute will be at JUMP, but we would like to have more than just the ACYTI youth present.

Religion 300 Section in Summer Session II
Take some time during the summer to complete a requirement! A new section of Religion 300 has been added to the Summer Session II calendar. This class is required of all advanced standing transfer students.
The course takes place on Tuesday and Thursday nights, from 6-9:30 p.m., starting on July 7.

Agresso Screen Changes
Information Technology has performed an upgrade of the Agresso systems. This upgrade has resulted in a few changes to the appearance of the Agresso screens, both for those users who access Agresso directly through the client application, as well as for users who use the web interface. Please note that these screen changes will not affect the appearance of the student web. You can use these links to follow video demonstrations of the screen changes:

Keeping Track of Auggies
Urbanus Dax Appointed Director of CGE Namibia
Urbanus Dax has been appointed director of the Center for Global Education program site in Windhoek, Namibia. He has served as program coordinator and instructor at the center in Namibia since January 2001 and has also served as interim director on two occasions. Urbanus is a Namibian citizen who completed a masters degree in education at Mankato State University. Prior to joining CGE, he had served as a social worker for the Lutheran Church in Namibia, founder and principal of a primary school which now bears his name, deputy permanent secretary in the MInistry of Labour and general manager of human resources at Namwater. We welcome Urbanus to this leadership role with CGE. He will be on campus in Minneapolis from July 21 though Aug. 1.
