Lindell Library Open for Augsburg for Adults

While students in the Day program may be off of Spring Break, be assured that Lindell Library will be open for our Augsburg for Adults students. Come research!

Monday, March 17 - Wednesday, March 19: 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Thursday, March 20: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Friday, March 21 - Sunday, March 23: CLOSED for Easter break
Monday, March 24: 10 a.m. - midnight

Hours are always available from the “Hours" link on the Lindell Library web site: www.augsburg.edu/library

Online library resources are also available 24/7 on that web site.

Book Discussion Group

Tired of prodding, cajoling, offering extra credit, and generally relying on grades to motivate your students? Bring your lunch and join our book group for the study of John Tagg's engaging and controversial work "The Learning Paradigm College."

Please RSVP to Terry Martin martin@augsburg.edu and pick up your copy of the book at CTL (book supply is limited). At the first session, we will discuss Parts I and II (pp. 1-86). For more information, contact Bev Stratton or Frankie Shackelford.

International Faculty Travel Award 2008

Applications Due: March 28
International Travel Grant

Two awards available for faculty travel to a conference at an international location to present a paper (Canada is not considered international for the purposes of this award). $800 per award.

Study Abroad advising is open this week -- so if you want to investigate the many options for studying abroad at Augsburg, please come by during our special Spring Break walk-in hours. We also have four Group Advising Meeting times available. We look forward to seeing you!

Walk-In Hours:
Tuesday, March 18: 9 a.m. - noon
Wednesday, March 19: 1 - 4 p.m.
Thursday, March 20: 9 a.m. - noon

Group Advising Meetings:

Spring Is a Great time to Join Weight Watchers!

The Augsburg College Weight Watchers at Work group will be starting a new 17-week session beginning Tuesday, April 1. We will hold an open house on Tuesday, March 25 at 2:30 p.m. in Lindell 301. Come see what it's about!

Cost is $186 for the 17-week session, which is a discounted rate. You can pay in three installment, or one lump sum, and by cash, check or credit card. Enrollment Center Spring Break hours

The Enrollment Center will be open for regular business hours this week through Wednesday. We will be closing early on Thursday, March 20 at 3 p.m. and will be closed on Friday, March 21 for the Easter holiday break. We will be open for regular business hours starting on Monday, March 24.
