Subject: Document Shredding

Message: In preparation for the upcoming school year, many departments are cleaning out old files. Any documents that are non-confidential can be placed in recycling containers located in hallways of each building. However, many of you have documents that are confidential and need to be shredded.

The Facilities Department is scheduling a document shredding company to be on campus mid-August. If you have any confidential materials that you wish to be shredded at that time, please box them up and mark the boxes 'to be shredded'. Then, send an email to adamsth@augsburg.edu by Friday, August 10th, and I will make arrangements for our staff to pick up these boxes from your office. Subject: Policy Change: Departmental Billing Requests

Message: In a change of policy, the Student Accounts department will only bill charges submitted by outside departments during certain periods of the academic year. Requests will be accepted throughout the year, but if a request is received outside one of the periods listed below, the actual billing of the requested charge or fee will not occur until the next period.

Here is the "outside charges" calendar for 07-08:

* Now through September 14th (outside charges will be billed to all students)

* December 13th through January 18th (outside charges will be billed to all students)

* March 7th through April 18th (outside charges will be billed to WEC/Grad students only)

* April 19th through May 31st (outside charges will be billed to Day students only)

All requests to bill a WEC or Grad account must be submitted to the Enrollment Center by April 18th. All requests to bill a Day account must be submitted to the Enrollment Center by May 31st. Any requests submitted after these due dates will be reviewed by the Student Accounts department and accepted or rejected on a case by case basis.

Requests to credit a student's account will be accepted year-round and processed immediately.

Subject: Saints Baseball Game Tickets for Friday

Message: We have 6 Saints Baseball tickets remaing for this Friday's game against the Sioux City Explorers. Game start time is 7:05pm. The general admission ticket also includes a voucher for a Darryl Strawberry Bobblehead and a hotdog and soda.
