Submitter:
Kerry Morgan, Coordinator of Galleries and Exhibits, Art

Message: Don't let the Friday the 13th date keep you away from the opening reception for "Bridges and Canoes" from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Christensen Center Art Gallery. Stephen Geffre's fine art photography will be on display through September 7.

Subject: Wednesday Gathering Invitation

Submitter:

Message: All faculty and staff are invited to the Wednesday Gathering this Wednesday, July 11, in the East Commons of the Christensen Center between 11:00-1:00 p.m. for salad, fruit, and dessert buffet. We are delighted to also be hosting twenty-five students visiting from United International College, Zhuhai, China and encourage you to engage them in conversations to help them practice their English language skills.

The security and custodial night shift employees are also invited to the Wednesday Evening Gathering at 8:00 p.m. in the Riverside Room.

The first Wednesday of the month gatherings support our commitment to building community and practicing common work. They are an opportunity to get to know one another, exchange ideas, and collaborate in new ways. Please remind your colleagues and plan to join us!

Subject: 2007 Auggie Days Event Registration

Submitter:

Message: In an effort to collaborate with each of Augsburg's departments and offices, Campus Activities & Orientation would like to know what events you have planned that take place during Auggie Days. We will be using this information as we continue to plan for Auggie Days, our intention being to create a brochure that will present a comprehensive schedule of events.

Auggie Days will begin Saturday, September 1st and run through Sunday, September 9th. Previously a shorter schedule, Auggie Days has been extended to allow for more transitional programs and ultimately a better experience for our students.

Please submit the Auggie Days Event Registration Form to our department no later than noon on Tuesday, July 17th. The form can be found here:
http://web.augsburg.edu/~oberry/Auggie_Days_Event_Registration_Form.pdf
