Message: The Enrollment Center will be closed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 5 for Opening Convocation. We will remain open until 8pm that evening for new student orientation events.

Northern Lights Society, a non-profit organization, is proud to announce their sponsorship of a very special one-night-only performance of the Order of the Whirling Dervishes from Turkey. The event titled "Rumi Exclusive - Whirling Dervishes" will take place on Tuesday, September 19, 2006, at 7 p.m. Ted Mann Concert Hall, University of Minnesota West Bank 2128 4th Street South.

One of the wonders of Turkey is coming to Minnesota: Whirling Dervishes of Rumi. Whirling Dervishes are performing
one of the most exquisite ceremonies of spirituality. It's a rare opportunity to experience a mesmerizing seven-century old ritual,
incredible performance featuring beautiful costumes, hypnotic live music with flutes, string and percussion, and the amazing sight of the Dervishes whirling on the stage.

Tickets to the performance are available for purchase at University of Minnesota Arts Ticket Office Mon. - Fri., 10 am– 5 pm.

Message: After four years with Augsburg, Raymond Cochenour III, Assistant Manager of Athletic Facilities, is moving on. He begins his new job as Supervisor/Programmer at the Athletic Club of Milwaukee in Milwaukee, WI on Sept. 11. His last day at Augsburg is Sept. 1.

Please join us in extending a special thanks to Ray for his dedication and contributions to our Athletic Facilities and Athletic departments, and Intramural Programs. Everyone is invited to attend a social to honor Ray on Friday, September 1 from 2-4 p.m. in the Ice Arena Office.
