Please have your vehicle removed from lots H and I by 6 a.m. on July 7th. Any vehicle left in lots H or I at that time will be subject to towing at the owner's expense.

After July 7th, faculty/staff parking will be available in parking lots D, G, J, and L. If you would like an escort from your vehicle to any location on campus, please call Public Safety Dispatch at 612-330-1717. We are staffed 24/7 to assist you.

Subject: Schield Talks at International Stats Conference

Submitter:
Milo A Schield, Professor, Business-MIS

Message: Milo Schield, Professor of Business Administration and Director of the W. M. Keck Statistical Literacy Project, presented an invited paper on the results of an international survey on Statistical Literacy among students, data analysts and college faculty. This paper was presented at the International Conference on Teaching Statistics (ICOTS-7) in Salvador Brazil.

Milo also presented a workshop on a web-based drill program developed under Augsburg's grant from the Keck Foundation. This innovative program allows students to analyze graphs, charts and tables, to enter answers in ordinary English and to get immediate feedback.
