New  Public Achievement to Host Town Hall Forum: On Wednesday, April 3rd, 7:00-8:00 pm in Kennedy 305, the Augsburg student Public Achievement group will host a Town Hall forum on the topic, “The Dying Dream.” All are invited. New  Paideia Summer Institute: ECS 543: Paideia Summer Institute, July 22-26, 2019, 8 am to 4 pm daily. Join us for our 30th anniversary celebration of the Paideia Institute. During the Paideia Institute attendees participate in inquiry-based seminars on various texts and gain expertise in designing and facilitating seminars.   2 or 3 credit options available. New  MN Education Job Fair: The Strommen Career & Internship Center invites students and Augsburg alumni who are licensed or qualified to teach or work in a school district by December 2019 to register for the MN Education Job Fair. (Teaching candidates and education services candidates such as school counselors, speech therapists, school social workers, and school administrators)

Fair Date: Wednesday, April 10 – 10am-3pm – Minneapolis Convention Center

Cost – FREE! The Strommen Center will pay the registration fee of $20 for the first 50 students/alumni to register. (Students/alumni registering the day of the event will be charged $30 – it pays to plan ahead!)

  Teach MSP Career Fair on Saturday, April 13th: On Saturday, April 13th, more than 15 schools will be joining together to host the Teach MSP Career Fair. The Teach MSP Career Fair is inviting all teachers, school leaders and paraprofessionals to meet with principals for on-the-spot interviews. Principals will be hiring for all subject areas and are eager to meet excited candidates.

  Free NES Prep Sessions! Invite your classmates! Registration is required. The NES reading and writing prep sessions at Augsburg University on 4/1/2019 & 4/8/2019. For those of you who have not passed the NES exam or partially passed the NES exam, you can pick and choose which sessions to attend. New  ELCA World Hunger Summer Internships: ELCA World Hunger is the ELCA’s signature response to hunger and poverty in the U.S. and around the world. Based in Chicago, Ill., at the offices of the churchwide organization of the ELCA, though the programs they support are located across the U.S. and in nearly 60 other countries.
