KARE 11 TV meteorologist Sven Sundgaard speaks at Vocatio Chapel
Augsburg College continues the Vocatio Chapel series with KARE 11 meteorologist, Sven Sundgaard, at 10:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24 in the Hoversten Chapel. Sven will speak on his calling to be a scientist and his life as a TV personality.
Sven joined the KARE 11 weather team in March 2006. He had previously worked at the station while he was pursuing his meteorology degree at St. Cloud State University. Prior to his staff position at KARE 11, Sven was chief meteorologist at KBJR-TV in Duluth-Superior where he has worked since 2003. A native Minnesotan, Sven was born in St. Paul and raised in Cottage Grove. When he's not working, he enjoys camping, running and traveling, especially to Norway and Sweden to visit relatives.
