Summer session underway

Although the official start of summer isn't for a few weeks, the first summer session of classes at Augsburg is underway.
With 470 students enrolled, including participants in graduate and study abroad programs, Summer Session I began on May 29 and runs through June 29. A sampling of some of the classes currently in session include: Plein Air Sketching (Art), Foundations of Fitness (HPE), Beginning Sign Language (Modern Languages), and Jazz History (Music).
Summer Session II runs from July 9 to August 9; students can register through July 9 without a late fee. Summer Session II offerings include classes such as: Fundamentals of Stained Glass (Art), Advertising (Business), Screenwriting (Film Studies/English), Creative Writing (English), Fitness Walking (HPE), and Walking the Truth: Culture, Gender, and HIV/AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa (Women's Studies).
