"Unmasking Addiction"

“Unmasking Addiction,” a benefit for the StepUP Program, was held Feb. 22 at Augsburg College. The StepUP Program, celebrating its 10th anniversary, is a unique program, which serves the needs of men and women in recovery from chemical dependency who wish to enroll in college.
Augsburg is the only program across the nation that provides support services, counseling and residence hall options.
It was a festive evening, which included a dessert buffet, silent and live auctions, and entertainment by the Brave New Workshop.
A special honor was given to the El-Hibri family who were presented with the Toby LaBelle Award for support to young people in recovery.
