Length of Service and Employee of the Year Awards
At a celebration hosted by the Augsburg College Staff Senate on Thursday, March 15, 45 employees were recognized for length of service to the college and two individuals were awarded employee of the year.
Of the 45 employees recognized for length of service to the college, three have been with Augsburg for 25 years: Mike Christianson, Brian Crowley, and Cindy Peterson.
The recipients of the Employee of the Year award were Mary Jastremski, Admissions Systems Coordinator and Sharon Rauenhorst, Administrative Accounting Office Manager.
Employee of the Year recipients are nominated by their co-workers. The award is based on innovative and outstanding initiative and contribution to the college, as well as length of service. Particular attention is also paid to positions that may not be high-profile.
