Augsburg programs recognize outstanding work by staff and faculty

Two Augsburg staff and faculty recognition programs are currently accepting nominations:

The Staff Length of Service and Employee of the Year event will be held on Thursday, March 15 from 3 - 4:30 p.m.

This event celebrates staff members who have worked at Augsburg College for an extended period of time. It also recognizes an exceptional staff member who exemplifies the mission statement of the college.

The nomination form for Employee of the Year is available in the orgs drive, through the staff senate public folder. Deadline is Friday, March 2 at 4 p.m. to Liz Bassani, CB 309.

The Distinguished Contributions to Teaching and Learning Annual Recognition honors up to three individuals annually in the areas of teaching, advising/mentoring, and service to students/other direct contributions to teaching and learning. Each award carries a stipend of $1000, public recognition and celebration.

Awards are based on evidence of student learning and student satisfaction provided by students, colleagues, and documentation, weighted appropriately for each of the three areas of excellence.
