Nautilus Music-Theater brings '365 International Festival' to Augsburg

Suzan Lori Parks and Ben KrywoszThis month, the Nautilus Music-Theater is collaborating with the 365 International Festival in bringing seven of Suzan Lori Park’s work “365 Plays/365 Days” to Augsburg College July 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Tjornhom-Nelson Theater in the Foss Center. Nautilus commissioned seven composers, Christina Baldwin, Mary Ellen Childs, Michael Donley, Robert Elhai, Jake Endres, Ralph Johnson and Gary Rue, to put seven plays to music for the Festival.

Nautilus Music-Theater is one of the most significant music/theater resources in the region and is responsible for training many if not most of this region's prominent music theater artists. It holds composer/writer workshops around the country fostering the creation of new works of musical theater; and holds a monthly series, "Rough Cuts" for the exploration of new ideas, works and performances of music theater.

Performances - July 9, 7:30 p.m. at the Nautilus Music-Theater, Northern Warehouse, 308 Prince St., St. Paul and July 10, 7:30 p.m. Foss Center, Augsburg College. Ticket price is $5 and there is limited seating.
