Augsburg welcomes students with an ear for music

On Friday, February 2, over 80 high school music students will be on the Augsburg campus to test their classical music knowledge in the Minnesota Music Listening Contest (MLC).
Augsburg is one of four sponsors of this statewide event.
This contest connects high school students with classical music and tests their ability to identify composers, periods and styles. Student teams participate in regional competitions and first and second place teams advance to the state competition. The overall objective is to inspire students to become lifelong participants in the musical experience.
This is the tenth year that Augsburg has hosted the event.
