Biology Department hosts Coral Reef Aquarium Conference
The Augsburg College Biology Department, in conjunction with the Twin Cities Marine Aquarium Society, is hosting a coral reef aquarium mini-conference Saturday, March 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The location is the Augsburg College Science Auditorium, Science Hall Room 123.
There will be presentations by the following reef aquarium experts:
- Mike Paletta, "Setting up a 1200 gallon Starphire tank"
- Steven Pro, "Moving Beyond Anecdote...Simple Experiments for Everyone."
- Dr. George Batten from the SeaChem corporation, "Chemistry in the Reef Tank and Substrate"
This conference is open to the general public. There is an $8 cover charge to help defray costs.
