PA Program graduates excel on board examination

Augsburg College PA Program, class of 2004 For the second time in three years, Augsburg College Physician Assistant (PA) Program graduates had one of the highest mean scores in the country on their national board examination.

The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants announced that the Augsburg graduates from the class of 2004 received a mean score of 613, putting them at the 99th percentile, and above the national average of 510. The score on the exam necessary to pass was 350.

The Augsburg Physician Assistant Studies Program was accredited in September 2002, and is the sole Physician Assistant Program in the state of Minnesota.
